Hong Kong GOLD.KEYS Lawrence Chan, Jay Yeung, Romeo Wu and PRIVATE i SALON team worked with the designers to showcase the hottest trends of the season. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the shows were a feature for the very latest in garments, fabrics and accessories.

For Spring/Summer 2016, hair colour will feature a fresh approach to pastels and precious metals for a sophisticated look. Kate Reid, Director of Education for COLOR.ME explains the trend:
“Pastels will remain a top hair colour trend this year, but will take on a new direction. With Rose Quartz and Serenity named Pantone Colours of the Year, pastels will be given an avant-garde look with the combination of timeless precious metal-inspired shades. Punk platinum combined with edgy-yet-feminine Rose Quartz delivers a cool, modern result!”
The All About Beauty show, hosted by International Beauty Services in Edmonton, Canada, was a two-day event full of shows and workshops. It was a wonderful mashup of cutting, colouring and styling on stage all day. There were four MASTERS at the show, including Marsha Moran, Tim McClean, Alexandria Batista and Timothy Durant, along with Kate Reid, the Director of Education for COLOR.ME, assisted by DIAMOND.KEY Amy Lange, PLATINUM.KEY T.J. Pepper and PLATINUM. KEY Kelly Bland. There was a rotation of over 500 stylists with 150+ in attendance for each show!

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Salon in Carmel, Indiana hosted an eventful night of entertainment and education. While enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres, the guests were educated on how to properly use styling products and techniques to accomplish salon-worthy looks on their own.
